Mr. Joel Theisen, R.N.
Mr. Theisen is a Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of AgeWell Home Care LLC.,
an innovative provider of home based long-term care services for seniors. Mr. Theisen has over 18 years of
experience in the healthcare industry with specific expertise and focus in home care. Prior to launching
AgeWell, Mr. Theisen served as Chief Executive Officer for AdvoLife, Inc. AdvoLife was a home care and
senior services company based in San Jose, California. Mr. Theisen's leadership grew the company to over
$10 million dollars in annual revenue, providing industry leading services to people needing support in
5 metropolitan areas. Mr. Theisen began his healthcare leadership experience as the National Director of
Private Pay Services for In Home Health Inc., a national provider of comprehensive home health services.
Mr. Theisen was also trained as a critical care nurse at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN. Mr. Theisen is
a graduate from Viterbo College in La Crosse, Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Ms. Lisa Weber
Ms. Weber is the Chief Operating Officer of AgeWell Home Care LLC., an innovative provider
of home based long-term care services for seniors. Ms. Weber has over 22 years of specific home care
experience. She is an expert in delivering home care services that include skilled intermittent care,
infusion therapy services, and Hospice care. Prior to AgeWell, Ms. Weber served on the senior management
team for Intrepid USA, Inc., a comprehensive home care service provider with over 100 sites nationally.
Ms. Weber began her homecare leadership experience in 1984 with In Home Health Inc., a national provider
of comprehensive home health. She was instrumental in growing In Home Health Inc. from 1987 through 1999
where she held progressive leadership positions including Vice President of Operations. Her tenure saw
the company grow to 42 sites with over $120 million in annual revenue. Ms. Weber also added Hospice
services to In Home Health, significantly expanding In Home's care giving capabilities and services.
Ms. Weber attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
Ms. Carole Overby
Ms. Overby is a Founder, and Regional Director of Operations for AgeWell Home Care LLC.,
a provider of home based long-term care services for seniors. Ms. Overby has over 21 years of experience
in the healthcare industry; 17 of these years in the Home Health arena. Prior to founding AgeWell, Ms.
Overby was the first employee and Regional Director of Operations for AdvoLife, Inc. AdvoLife was a home
care and senior service company based in San Jose, California. Ms. Overby was a member of the corporate
management team and played a critical role in leading the company through 4 new site expansions into new
metropolitan areas. Ms. Overby led all the companies General Managers, initiated and managed the corporate
information systems, risk management and human resources departments. Before AdvoLife, Ms. Overby held key
operational roles with several regional and national health service companies. Ms. Overby is a graduate of
California State University Hayward with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
Ms. Beth Nemec
Ms. Nemec is a Founder, and Twin Cities General Manager for AgeWell Home Care LLC., a
provider of home based long-term care services for seniors. Ms. Nemec has over 24 years of experience in
the healthcare industry; 18 of these years delivering home health care services. Before joining AgeWell
as a founding member, Ms. Nemec was the Twin Cities General Manager for AdvoLife, Inc. AdvoLife was a home
care and senior service company based in San Jose, California. Ms. Nemec masterfully led AdvoLife's Twin
City expansion, establishing AdvoLife as a market leader with over $3 million in annual revenue. Beth is
an expert in the Twin City's long term care industry. She lends her insights and guidance to many local
groups in support of their efforts to care for people as they age. Before AdvoLife, Ms. Nemec held key
operational and sales roles with In Home Health Inc., a national provider of comprehensive home health. Ms.
Nemec is a graduate of University Wisconsin Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Science in Health Care
Administration.
Ms. Gretchen Scheffel MSW, LISW
Ms. Scheffel is the Director of Housing Solutions for AgeWell Home Care, LLC, an innovative provider of home-based long-term care services for seniors. She has over 17 years of experience in the health care field with the majority as a medical social worker. Ms. Scheffel has focused her career on serving seniors in many environments, including long-term and sub-acute care, county programs, discharge planning, home care and care management services. Prior to AgeWell, Ms. Scheffel combined her passion for seniors and the people who care for them with in-depth understanding of the health care field to create two businesses: one offering aging-related educational services for health care professionals and seniors, and another providing qualified social workers across the healthcare spectrum. Respected as an expert in the social work and aging field, Ms. Scheffel is an adjunct faculty member at the College of St. Catherine. She earned a Bachelor's of Science from the College of St. Catherine in social work and a Master's of Science in social work from the University of Minnesota. Ms. Scheffel is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the state of Minnesota.
Ms. Susan Garner
Ms. Garner is the Director of Life Care Services for AgeWell. Ms. Garner has over 26 years of experience in the healthcare field with 22 years specifically focused in home health care. Prior to joining AgeWell, Ms. Garner was a Regional Vice President for a comprehensive home health company with over 100 sites nationally. Ms. Garner began her home health career as a Care Manager and held progressive leadership positions during her tenure including Vice President of Administration. She was the General Manager of a Minneapolis based home care company from 1990 - 1995 and grew annual revenues from $2 million to $8 million. Ms. Garner is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College with a Bachelors of Arts - Nursing.
Mr. Rob Rossi
Mr. Rossi is the Director of Technology and Development for AgeWell Home Care LLC., an innovative provider of home based long-term care services for seniors. Mr. Rossi has been a technology leader with 15 years of experience in project management and software development creating technology solutions for business problems. He has led focused teams to create breakthrough solutions for a wide variety of business sectors. For the last 9 years, he has focused specifically on the home healthcare sector. He developed a point-of-care clinical system for a national hospice provider. Training clinicians and supporting their help desk calls exemplified Mr. Rossi's understanding and appreciation for what it takes to successfully deploy mobile healthcare applications. Mr. Rossi has created business partnerships between homecare software companies and GPS enabled cell phone providers. Deploying these new technologies to increase efficiency and improve customer satisfaction. Mr. Rossi is a graduate of the Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
